Brundib√°r: A Children's Opera

Brother and sister Aninku and Pep√≠ńćek are on a quest to raise money to help their sick mother, but an evil musician Brundib√°r stands in their way...

With the help of a fearless sparrow, keen cat, and wise dog, they must defeat him with the power of music to set the village free!

A magical musical adventure full of friendship, hope and community spirit, Brundib√°r is an opera for all the family.

Also included with this event is a free Family Opera Workshop that takes place before the opera begins. Learn to sing the Children's March to help save the day!

The Gala

A whirlwind tour of hit songs from opera and musical theatre, Ashley Beauchamp leads our stellar cast of singers in favourite arias, duos, and musical hits with something for everyone.

  • 15:45 -¬†'Boco Arts' Cinema (all tickets will include entry to the Boco Arts Cinema)
  • 16:30-18:15 -¬†Opera Gala (please note this will include a 15 minute interval)
How to Find Us

Litlington Village Hall, Clapham Lane, Litlington, BN26 5RQ

Parking: If you are planning to come by car, there will be free parking available close to the venue. This will be clearly signposted and stewarded on the day.

By Public Transport: The closest railway station to Litlington is Berwick. From there you will need to pre-book a taxi in order to get to Litlington. We are under a 10 minute drive from Berwick Station.

Alternatively Berwick to Litlington is a very pleasant walk should you want to explore the beautiful surrounding area (1-1.5hr walk)

You can also get the 12 and 12A bus from Brighton. Get off at Exceat and wonder along the Cuckmere River to Litlington (34 minute walk)


There will not be paper tickets, you will just need to show us your confirmation email on arrival at the festival. Please note tickets cannot be purchased on the door.
