Cuckmere Festival 2020

As lockdown restrictions eased in the UK in the summer of 2020, Boco Arts was formed from a desire to have live music in people’s lives and to provide work for talented artists stuck without performances throughout 2020.

The Cuckmere Festival 2020 was a sell-out, with 100 audience members, 10 volunteers on hand to keep everything running and Covid-secure, 10 wonderful musicians and 3 local food and drink vendors.

With the sun warming the beautiful Cuckmere valley, the audience were treated to a day of varied repertoire from classical to contemporary, featuring a range of composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn, Hector Villa-Lobos, Florence Price, Benjamin Britten and Karen Tanaka.
